Welcome to the Senior Schools Section.
If your senior school is not currently a member, ask your Director of Sports to register your school and sign up your players. We hold two National Championships a year and friendly matches in between. Our Arena Championships are held at the beginning of March at Rugby Polo Club, spread over 2 arenas. We welcome schools and players of all levels from all over the UK and competition is fierce. Senior Schools encompasses Year 9 to 13.
During the Summer Term we host the grass Championships. In 2023 we played at Kirtlington Park Polo Club. The Summer Term is when we see all the hard work that has been put into training over the winter coming to the fore.
You do not need to own a pony to be a part of the SUPA family. There are plenty of Polo Schools out there, with brilliant coaches and lovely horses who will teach you and hire a pony to you so that you can compete. To find your nearest affiliated club, HPA school/Academy visit the HPA website.
You can also join in with Pony Club Polo, giving you access to more polo during the school holidays.
You can still join SUPA even if your school does not play polo, we welcome everyone of all abilities.
Welcome to the sport and fun of playing polo at school.
